Most camp lights are either a lantern you carry or a lamp you leave behind. The A61 Acorn Lamp refuses the choice. At 55 grams and 5.7 × 3.8 × 3.8 cm, it slips into a pocket, clips onto a loop, or disappears into a corner of a daypack — then turns any surface, branch, panel or light stand into somewhere to put light.
It is the first light in the 05 Series designed to spend as much time on a bookshelf as in a tent. The product photography in this release is shot entirely in domestic settings — a nightstand, a desk, a bookshelf, a café table — because that is where SHINETRIP expects the A61 to live between trips.
Light enough to forget, bright enough to matter
Two numbers define the A61. The first is 55 g. The second is 150 lm at the top of its warm-white dual-emitter mode — enough to light a table for two, or the inside of a two-person tent, without the glare of a bare LED.
Because the body is a single sealed column rather than a folding frame, there is nothing to snap open or shake into shape. You take it out, tap the top plate, and it is on.
One button, thirteen lighting modes
Tap the control on the top plate to cycle through modes; press and hold to dim. The A61 spans everything from a warm reading glow to a red SOS beacon to RGB ambient effects — practical light, safety light and atmosphere from the same emitter.

Double-tap the top to drop straight into flashlight mode — a directional beam for finding something under a seat or walking a dark path back from the washroom. It is the mode you will forget about until the night you need it.
A shade you can swap, stack and mix
The upper shell is flexible silicone, not hard plastic — soft to the touch, slightly elastic, and comfortable to hold or squeeze into a packed bag. It is also removable, which is where the A61 gets interesting.
Run the lamp bare for an exposed-emitter mushroom, or fit the shade for the full acorn silhouette. Two shades ship in the box — one orange, one white — so a single lamp can change character without any tools, and shades can be combined across the five colourways.
Four ways to put light where you need it
Instead of a single fixed mount, the A61 carries four — and none of them require an adaptor you have to buy separately.
01Magnetic top cap
The top plate is magnetic. It holds to steel pegboards, tool walls, lockers or a car body — vertical surfaces that a lantern would otherwise slide off.
02Metal clip + braided lanyard
A stainless clip on a braided cord hangs the lamp from a branch, a ridge line, a hook or a pannier loop. Drape it, don't balance it.
03Standard 1/4″ thread
The base takes a standard 1/4-inch thread, so the A61 screws directly onto a light stand, tripod or table clamp — the same mounts photographers already carry.
04Acrylic panel drop-in
The body fits any acrylic sheet drilled to 37.5 mm or less, turning a sheet of perspex into a table of lights with no hardware at all.
IPX4, USB-C, and a flashlight you didn't plan on
IPX4 covers rain, dew and splash — the conditions a lamp actually meets at a campsite after dark. It is not built for immersion: do not submerge the lamp or use it underwater.
Charging is by USB-C, with a four-LED battery gauge on the top plate that tells you where you stand before you leave the house rather than after you arrive. Full runtime depends on the mode: the red warning modes will run for well over a day, while the brightest warm-white setting is measured in hours.
